Planning Meetings
Planning a once in a lifetime event such as a wedding can be a daunting task. Luckily enough, we have performed at hundreds of weddings. We’ll share our wisdom with you (because we’ve learned a lot over the years) while always giving you the final say. We can assist you on your planning journey by laying out the road to wedding day success and help you avoid common pitfalls. You will have a final meeting with your Chicago wedding DJ to go over all the details for your event so we can ensure an unforgettable night!
Event Coordination
Not only do we play GOOD music during your event, but we help facilitate every detail on the day of the celebration to ensure a smooth experience throughout your entire wedding. We are not stand up comedians. We are not the stereotypical corny, goofy, game-playing wedding DJs. We only make the necessary announcements or formalities. In addition, we are Bilingual (Spanish) MCs, so we can make announcements in English and Spanish. We understand many of the Latin American traditions at events.
Premium Sound and Microphones
Chances are, you’ve been to a wedding where the music has been too loud, too low, or too distorted. We utilize high-end line-array sound systems with subwoofers, which means that our systems can cover small to large reception areas easily without overpowering guest conversation. Even Grandma will be able to hear the speeches, and your friends will love the sound on the dance floor. At every event we provide 2 wireless microphones, so there is no need for the DJ to run across the room to give the microphone to another person. The person who is speaking will be ready once the DJ has introduced them, for a seamless and professional event.
Live Mixing
Not all DJs are the same. We are experienced Club DJs, which means we can bring that vibe to your wedding. This means that we can blend together all of your favorite songs from various genres with seamless transitions, packing your dance floor and providing an unforgettable dance celebration. Our DJs read the crowd and work hard to ensure all your “Must Plays” make it to the playlist while keeping your guests in on the action. We are always open to requests from your guests and will make their song choices included in our mix, but not if they request the “hokey pokey.” We will check in with the couple first when an out-of-the-ordinary request is made, to make sure you love all of your wedding day music.
Dance Floor Lighting
We include dance floor lighting with every package. Our lighting system is synced to the music which creates a fun atmosphere for your dance floor experience. The result is a packed dance floor full of smiles.
Online Planning System
Gone are the days of paper and pencil (unless you ask for it, we can provide print versions!). Our booking and planning process can all be done online— from signing your contract, sending payments, to accessing our planning tools.
